Report: Vikings Latest Team to Turn Down HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’

It’s been a tough last couple of weeks for HBO as they’ve struggled to find a team to participate on the 2011 version of Hard Knocks. While numerous teams have already turned down the chance to appear on the hit show this upcoming season, there’s apparently one more team that can be added to that list–the Minnesota Vikings. Vikings DE Ray Edwards to Fight Kimbo Slice?

Minnesota Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards has spent most of his time this offseason focusing on a boxing career until the lockout comes to end. While the 26-year-old is set to make his pro debut Friday night at the Grand Casino Hinckley in Minnesota, it appears there’s a chance Edwards may face off against former UFC fighter Kimbo Slice this offseason. Vikings No Longer Interested in Donovan McNabb?

Despite spending their first-round pick on Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder, the Minnesota Vikings were still considered favorites to land Donovan McNabb this offseason when the Washington Redskins decide to trade or release him.
